Login — Ledger Account Login

Securely access your Ledger account to manage devices, subscriptions, and services. Follow best practices to keep your access safe.

About Ledger account access

Your Ledger.com account gives you access to certain online services such as device registration, order history, and optional features. Note: crypto ownership and transaction signing remain tied to your Ledger hardware device and recovery phrase — the online account is for convenience and non-custodial account management only.

How to log in

Use the official Ledger login page. Do not enter credentials into any site you reached from an email link unless you verified it first.

Quick tips for a safer login

  • Always confirm the URL is ledger.com and uses HTTPS.
  • Use a strong, unique password for your Ledger account and a password manager to store it.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where offered — even SMS-based 2FA adds some protection; authenticator apps are preferred.
  • Be cautious of phishing — Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

If available for your region, enable 2FA to add an extra verification step during login. Ledger supports authenticator apps and may offer SMS or email verification options. We recommend using an authenticator app (TOTP) for stronger security.

Recovering access

If you forget your password, use the official "Forgot password" flow on Ledger.com. This will send a password-reset link to your registered email address. If you cannot access your email, contact Ledger Support and be prepared to verify ownership of the account through any available records (order number, device serial, etc.).

Security warnings — what Ledger will never ask

  • Ledger will never ask you to enter your 24-word recovery phrase on any website or share it over email or chat.
  • Ledger will not ask for your PIN via email or phone.
  • If someone claims to be from Ledger support and asks for your recovery phrase, it is a scam — immediately end the conversation and report it to Ledger support channels.

Troubleshooting common login issues

I didn’t receive the password reset email

  • Check spam and promotions folders — sometimes automated messages are filtered.
  • Ensure you used the correct email address when requesting the reset.
  • Try requesting the reset again after a few minutes; some email systems delay delivery.
  • If your email provider blocked the message, whitelist @ledger.com or contact Ledger Support for help.

Login blocked or suspicious activity

  • If Ledger detects suspicious activity on your account, access may be temporarily blocked and a verification flow triggered.
  • Follow the instructions provided in official Ledger communications, and verify you are on Ledger’s website before entering any details.
  • For account lockouts that you cannot resolve, contact official Ledger Support channels with your order reference or device serial to help prove ownership.

Advanced account safety

While the Ledger account is not the custodian of your crypto, it is still important to protect it. Treat it like any other important online account:

If your email is compromised

If you believe your email account was compromised, change the Ledger account password immediately if you can. If you cannot access your Ledger account because your email has been taken over, contact your email provider to recover the email; if recovery is not possible, contact Ledger Support and provide proof of device purchase and ownership.

Privacy & data handling

Ledger collects minimal account information to provide services (email, preferences, purchase history). Private keys and recovery phrases are never transmitted to Ledger's servers. Ledger's privacy policy explains how account data is stored and used — review it if you have specific concerns.
